How do we measure up to the next woman?

WE DON’T!

We were uniquely created by God to be who He has made us to be as individuals. The word of God in Psalm 139:14, tells us we are fearfully and wonderfully made. We were created in different shapes and sizes; tall, short, thick and thin. He intentionally crafted our eyes, whether they are round, almond or droopy; our nose, whether it’s hooked, button or upturned; our lips, whether they are thin, thick or wide. He even created us with uniquely different fingerprints. God in His infinite wisdom took the time to design each of us. Our entire being is specifically as God intended us to be. He makes no mistakes.

We deny our full potential when we try to impersonate, look or act like someone else; which can appear as though we are displeased or unappreciative of God’s handy work. So let us measure ourselves up by being rich in good works, kindhearted, peaceful of spirit, of good character, compassionate, pleasant personalities, intelligent of thought, loving, strengthened, gentle, generous, faithful and joyful.

Isaiah 43:7 reads, Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

We are perfectly designed by a perfect God. Let us stay true to ourselves and embrace our uniqueness. Let us live a life in fulfillment of our God given purpose and never try to measure up to the next.
